Richard “Rich” Dempsey, MA, LPCC

 
 

My name is Rich Dempsey and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. My ideal clients include adults and children ages 5 and up who are dealing with considerable degrees of frustration, worry, or hopelessness, often having exhausted all known avenues. My ideal couples counseling clients include those who are recovering from infidelity. 

You can expect me to be a responsible collaborator who poses questions that are intended to meet you where you are and promote the development of new and meaningful possibilities. You can think of our work together as an archaeology of hope. 

I am a proud father of two wonderful adolescent girls and have been married for 19 years. I enjoy a challenging home improvement project, rooting for our beloved Cleveland sports teams, the outdoors, playing ice hockey, or unwinding in my shop with a woodworking project. I identify as a white, cisgendered male, third-generation American with Canadian, Irish, Norwegian, and German roots.
