How Do I Find Out More About My Insurance Coverage?
Call the Member Service/Customer Service number on the back of your card.
Tell the rep you would like details on your ‘Out-Patient Behavioral Health’ benefits.
Mental health benefits are often subject to a deductible, which means your sessions may process with more out-of-pocket costs for you until the deductible is met. Make sure to ask about any applicable deductibles and how much remains to be satisfied.
Some insurance plans have different rules or coverage for teletherapy appointments versus in-person. Make sure to verify you have coverage for both if you want the option of scheduling virtual appointments.
