Kathrine Dannemiller, MEd , LPCC
My name is Kathrine Dannemiller, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a Master’s of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I have experience counseling children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
I genuinely believe that a holistic approach to therapy is crucial to achieving meaningful progress. My approach involves taking a deeper look at not just the individual but also their family and environment. It's so important to help my clients and their loved ones understand how to shift negative thoughts and behaviors. That's why I turn to evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT. I'm confident that I can provide them with a range of techniques to manage their emotions and behaviors and enable them to take control of their lives and make their own decisions.
I take pride in my ability to work with individuals of all ages who may be struggling with their mental health. I am particularly passionate about working with children and adolescents in a constructive manner, especially those who exhibit oppositional behaviors, have a complex trauma history, or have Autism Spectrum Disorder. My goal is to help them overcome their challenges and empower them to live a rich and fulfilling life.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and playing with my two dogs.
