My name is Laura Langley, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I received my M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University in 2020. I have experience counseling adolescents, adults, couples, and families in community mental health settings, as well as in private practice.
I specialize in assisting individuals through the pathways of mental health challenges, offering compassionate support and evidence-based interventions based in neuroscience, with a special focus on trauma recovery. I provide specialized care for those grappling with PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting struggles, and anger management, using a mindfulness-based approaches. Whether your focus is on short-term goals or long-term goals, I am here to assist you on your personal path to growth.
As a Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM), I provide evidence-based strategies to help clients effectively manage and transform their anger into positive, constructive behavior. My training equips me to address the underlying causes of anger, fostering healthier emotional responses and improved relationships.
As a Certified Yoga Teacher, I have the capability to be able to provide clients with one-on-one, private yoga sessions so that you can experience and explore these valuable coping skills in real time. I work to craft individualized restorative yoga sequences to best fit your issues and needs. I also incorporate breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra practices into each yoga centered session. Handouts with detailed instructions are provided for you to be able to effectively and safely use these tools yourself in your own home. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment.
