Erin Stretar, MSW, LISW

Biography: 

Erin Stretar, MSW, LISW has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University.  She is an independently Licensed Social Worker (LISW) in the State of Ohio. Her experience includes working with adolescents and adults providing individual and group therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Specific areas of focus include treating eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, self esteem enhancement, crisis intervention, family therapy, stress management and substance abuse. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and is skilled in treating personality disorders and treating self-harm behavior.  Clients may request the opportunity to explore or utilize Christian/Spiritual based values and teachings in their counseling process.

 

Some of Erin’s specific areas of focus are (but are not limited to) working with ages 12 to mid-20s, Eating Disorders, Postpartum Depression, infertility, young or new mothers, college students in transition, teens, cutting and suicidal ideation, body image and self esteem concerns.
