Biography:

Sarah Campbell has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron. The program was dually accredited; therefore, Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Ohio. Sarah has received additional training in issues of sexuality through The Buehler Institute and is pursuing her certification for sex therapy. Sarah has worked in community mental health providing intensive home-based services to at-risk youths and their families. Sarah has worked with children (ages 6 and older), adolescents, adults, and families. Sarah has experience working with clients who experience trauma, depression, anxiety, issues with sexuality or gender, family therapy, couples/marriage counseling, parenting, and self-esteem. Among varying techniques and therapeutic approaches, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Systems Theory, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing guide her work.
